Pantera pull out of Aftershock Festival

Pantera, the legendary heavy metal band, has announced that they will be cancelling their previously scheduled performance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California. The festival, which was set to take place on October 13th and 14th, was to feature a wide variety of heavy metal and hard rock bands, including Pantera, Slipknot, System of a Down, and Prophets of Rage.

Pantera’s cancelation was announced on their official social media accounts, with the band citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for their departure. While the band did not provide any further explanation as to why they had to cancel, fans are speculating that their decision could have been due to health issues or scheduling conflicts.

This is the second major setback for the Aftershock Festival this year, as the festival was originally set to take place in May but was pushed back to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With Pantera’s cancelation, the festival’s lineup has been significantly reduced, leaving fans disappointed and wondering if the festival will still be able to carry on without them.

While Pantera’s decision to pull out of the Aftershock Festival is certainly unfortunate, it is understandable given the current situation we are in. Fans are hoping that the band will be able to make it up to them by scheduling a show in the near future, while still keeping everyone’s health and safety in mind.
